The Virginia Agribusiness Council is a non-profit member organization
committed to representing the Agriculture and Forest industries in the
Commonwealth through effective government relations and industry promotion
efforts.
The original initiative for this Council came from the
Virginia Nurserymen’s Association with the Turfgrass Council, Greenhouse
Growers, Florists (FTD), Christmas Tree Growers and the Master Gardeners
being the first to join in the organizational effort.
The state trade association for garden centers, nursery growers, landscape
designers, installation and maintenance contractors, greenhouses and
horticultural suppliers.
Now in its 132nd year, the
American Nursery & Landscape Association is the
national voice of the nursery and landscape industry. Members
grow, distribute, and retail plants of all types, and design and install
landscapes for residential and commercial customers. ANLA provides
education, research, public relations, and representation services to
members.
